Eric is a composer originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, whose music reflects a wide range of influences—from nature and visual art to astronomy and physics. He spent ten years serving as a musician in the U.S. Army, an experience that continues to shape his approach to composition and collaboration.
His works have been performed in Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Japan by ensembles including the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Band, the Outside Wind Quintet, and numerous soloists around the world. Eric focuses on creating music that tells stories, invokes actual events, and connects audiences to the world around him.
He now lives in Beaverton, Oregon with his wife and holds a Bachelor's in Tuba Performance from the University of Tennessee, an MBA, and a Master’s in Finance from Portland State University.
